Fall Candle

Despite the weather not getting the memo, the world of retail says it’s officially Autumn! If you couldn’t tell by the sudden influx of all things orange and pumpkin, let me reassure you, it’s officially Autumn. So, naturally, I need to do a few things. First, I’ve begun switching out small decor items to reflect the season’s change. My Fall favorites print, which can be found here, is one of them, along with a Fall wreath on our front door. Next, I restocked on candles!

I love candles for so many reasons. Including, the atmosphere they can create, the coziness they can bring to a space. In my opinion, scents can dictate the mood of an area. I like to create for myself, and those in my home, a specific image and mood and often use candles to do so. I shop everywhere for candles, but of course, my go to is Bath & Body Works. Mainly due to the fact that they tend to have the greatest variety of scents and they carry some of my old favorites. A few weeks ago they were having a buy two get two free sale, with some additional coupons available. So, I did what any rational human would do, I got eight new candles to go with the several unopened, unburned, but not in season candles I already have….

So, I figured I would share them with you guys. Maybe, if you’re on the lookout for a new scent this will help sway you in some way. Otherwise, if you’re like me and you just like hearing (reading) peoples opinions on products, this will be a good read. I’ll be giving the description and notes provided by B&BW, and my personal description and what I think it would be perfect for. So, without further ado.

Fall Candle

2. Flannel-Described as Crisp air, bergamot, heirloom mahogany, and musk combined in a fragrance that is cozy, familiar, and perfect for brisk Fall days.

Notes: Crisp Autumn Air, Bergamot, Heirloom Mahogany, Soft Musk

My Description: Subtle bergamot scent is the first thing you get, slight muskiness like a men’s cologne, then the crisp air notes come after.

Perfect For: This is perfect to burn on those slow, rainy days with a cup of tea. Talk about a mood!

3. Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin-Described as The Annual Trip to the pumpkin patch comes to life with perfectly blended notes of harvest pumpkin, spiced clove, and brown sugar

Fall Candle

Notes: Harvest Pumpkin, Spiced Clove, Vanilla Cream, Brown Sugar

My Description: The most prominent is the spiced clove that is made less harsh by the vanilla cream, the pumpkin is a more of a middle town, however, it is still there.

Perfect For: Everyday use, burn it when you’re in a festive, Fall mood!

4. Autumn Woods– No description provided.

Fall Candle Notes: Dark Walnut, English Lavender, White Amber

My Description: Equal parts walnut and lavender making for an earthy-floral scent, the amber arrives after the lavender fades away. Smooth lotion-y smell. Right on the border of masculine but not quite.

Perfect For: This is another everyday type candle. This is one perfect for burning at the end of the day as you wind down.

Fall Candle

5. Almond-No description provided

Notes: Almond and Sandalwood Essential oils

My Description: Creamy subtle amaretto like scent, sandalwood is prominent then fades to the background letting the almond come through more.

Perfect For: This is the perfect bedroom scent. I prefer to do more subtle scents in my bedroom because it creates the fresh, clean, relaxing atmosphere. This scent is easy going, not overpowering and really balanced. Not too sweet, not too lotion-like, just open and fresh.

Fall Candle

6. Crisp  Morning Air: No description provided.

Notes: Crisp Fall Breeze, White Oak, Amber wood, Saffron, Soft Sandalwood

My Description: Reminiscent of the ocean, clean, almost soap like, woodsy but very perfumey.

Perfect For: This is the candle I would burn after a deep cleaning session to preserve that freshly cleaned mood. Also, the soap like tones also make it perfect for the bathroom.

7. Hot Cocoa & Cream– No description provided.

Fall Candle

Notes: Decadent Milk chocolate, Fresh Steamed Milk, Mini Marshmallow

My Description: Mouth-watering, powdered hot chocolate with a stronger sugar presence. Like brownie batter. I usually don’t go for food like scents, I mean why torture yourself right? But my husband couldn’t walk away from this one, and I agreed.

Perfect For: The kitchen, of course! This is the perfect cheat to get that “I’m one of those people who has it together and has time to bake” thing going in the kitchen.
