10 Quick Get to Know Me Facts

Hey guys,

I figured I could do these get to know me facts ever so often so that anyone reading can know the person behind the text.  This blog was launched to foster an ongoing discussion between like minds, so knowing me is probably crucial to that. Get To Know Me

1. Fall is my favorite season. The weather, the colors, the scents, the food, I am here for it all.
2. The mountains are my favorite vacation spot which probably is understandable with Fall being my favorite season.
3. My top two places on my  to visit list are Iceland and  France.
4. I  frequently obsess over animals. Especially: penguins, koalas, french bulldogs and anything small and furry.
5. Despite my favorite color being green, I don’t like to wear color, it complicates things.
6. Throughout high school I taught sex ed with an AIDS outreach group
7. I went to four schools before second grade, three of them in first grade.
8. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Philosophy. I get sucked into wormholes studying interesting things that have happened and the results so I figured those were the majors for me.
9. In college I transcribed ads in newspapers in the 1800’s. The ads were all runaway slave reward ads. Again, history nerd.
10. I went to two different colleges: Rhodes college in Memphis, TN and The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
