I have to confess that I have a bit of an addiction to buying water bottles. I don’t constantly buy them, but I will occasionally buy a water bottle, use it for a month and then decide I don’t like it. There is always just one thing that I don’t like about it. Now, with that said, there are some things that I don’t like about this water bottle, however, the aspects that I do like pretty much make up for that.

Because of said aformentioned addiction, I was searching for new water bottles on the world wide web. I, of course, searched on Pinterest also. There I ran across a picture of a flat water bottle, but in true Pinterest fashion, with no link! I kept looking around but my mind just kept returning to the flat water bottle. Not only did it look cool, but one of my qualms with my current water bottle is that it wasn’t convenient to carry around or stick in my bag. So, I did what any sensible human being would do and I went to Amazon to look for one.

There were several options, most of them very affordable. I essentially picked the most reputable looking one that was still affordable. I wasn’t really willing to make this a huge investment because I had my eye on another, more expensive one if I didn’t like this one. I went with this seller. Shipping was fast. It came with upkeep instructions and the seller even sent an extra cap in case I lost one.

PROS

  • Super easy to carry around because of the size and shape.
It fits in your bag without taking up space or can just be comfortably carried.
  • It looks nice, it’s not an eyesore so you feel comfortable having it out and around.
  • It’s affordable! I got it for under $15 including shipping!

More than anything, it has just felt more convenient to keep water around me with this bottle. It does come in larger sizes but obviously that will mean it will cost more, or that it may not fit into everything you want it to.

CONS

  • This size is convenient to carry but I do have to refill it quite often. I’m more willing to do this than to lug around a mishappen large bottle of water. It’s really just up to you.
  • It doesn’t keep water cold or warm. This doesn’t come with the thermal technology to keep your water at the temperature you like. This isn’t a huge deal as I drink room temperature water,  but I do know that it is popular to have this feature right now.

More than anything this water bottle is just extremely easy to carry around whether it be in your hand with a book, in your bag or even a large enough pocket! Because of this, even if your don’t use it as you’re all the time water bottle I would recommend getting it for those times you’re in need of something more portable. I can see this being really convenient for outdoor activities or sports or the gym!

  1. OMG. You’ve just changed my life. Last week I bought the Bear Grylls water bottle that keeps your water whatever temperature (extremely hot or very cold) for a day. It’s amazing yet heavy. I’m getting the flat right now.
